Product Description

An olive oil with a unique smooth taste and an aroma reminiscent of artichokes. This olive oil is ideal for all food preparation because of its distinctive fruitiness. Since the time our company pioneered the pressing of this variety in the early 80’s, it has become our most popular table oil especially used cold on bread. Also ideal for salads and for main dish preparation.


Genevieve's Garlic Bread
Found on page 28 in Gemma Sciabica's Treasured Family Recipes Cookbook
(Serves 6 to 8)


1 loaf Italian or French bread, cut in half lengthwise
1/3 cup Sciabica's Sevillano Variety Fall Harvest
2 garlic cloves (or to taste)
salt, pepper and paprika to taste
¼ cup Romano cheese, grated
1 small tomato
½ cup fresh basil leaves
½ teaspoon oregano


In jar of blender add all ingredients (except bread) and blend.
Drizzle sauce over bread on cut sides.
Wrap bread in foil, bake in 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cut slices or break as desired.

    As a modest gourmet cook, I've used many different olive oils for many years. But in approximately 1990 I began using Sciabica's Olive oils and have never looked back. The difference & improvement in flavor and texture compared to others (imported and CA oils) is extraordinary. Sciabica's oil is by far the best tasting. I've enjoyed many of Sciabica oils.

    My very favorite of Sciabica's Olive Oil is the Sevillano. I use it for everything: salads, cooking eggs, on breads, in sauces, and in pastas. I often substitute it for butter. Guest often favorably comment upon my delicious salads. I tell them my not so secret for the quick easy salad: Sciabica olive oil and McCormack salad seasoning. Quick easy and done, but salad tastes as if a gourmet chef prepared it.

    I marinated my flank steak in this olive oil overnight and bbq'd the next day. My friends loved it and I passed the recipe on.

    This olive oil is by far my favorite ingredient to cook with. I am by no means a culinary expert but I do love to cook and EVERYTHING I put your oil on is just incredible.

    NOTHING Compares to it. I have searched for over 20 years for a "good" olive oil and when I found this, I found the "BEST".

    I use and sell many different kinds of olive oil in my business and the Sevillano Variety Fall Harvest is my all time favorite oil. I love how the flavor and aroma are so reminiscent of artichoke. It has a lovely mouth-feel with a warming roundness to the finish. If it was socially acceptable I would drink this with my meals!! Don't hesitate, don't deliberate... just buy it!!!! Trust me... you'll be telling your friends and family how you've discovered the most fantastic olive oil! Take all the credit for yourself, I won't tell.
