Terrific on fish, chicken, salads with balsamic vinegar and in baking applications where the sweet flavor of the orange is desired, such as in biscotti or brownies.
Orange Scones

(Makes 8)
1 egg white
¼ cup poppy or sesame seeds
grated peel of 1 orange or lemon
1-1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup Sciabica's Orange Extra Virgin Olive OilPreheat oven to 375 degrees. In mixing bowl, add dry ingredients(except seeds).
Make well in center, add remaining ingredients. Stir just until dough holds together.
On floured board, knead dough very lightly. Pat down to a 7 inch round.
Brush top with orange juice, sprinkle with seeds, cut into 8 wedges.
Place scones 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet. Pierce top with tines of fork.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden.
