Trader Joe's (in Sacramento) used to carry this product under their label years ago. They discontinued it. I searched high and low to find a match, had even memorized the ingredients. Then one day I spotted the Exclusivo label at Smart Foods in Lodi, CA, by looking at the ingredients. Cleaned out the shelf, then they discontinued it. Found it again at Podesto's in Stockton, CA. Now they only carry the new large can. I even called Stanislaus Foods and they directed me to Sciabica's so I could order and have it shipped to Sacramento. Best sauce! ever!!!

I first picked up a can of this at a small fresh vegetable grocer several years ago. Soon after I cleaned out their entire stock. This is the best sauce I've ever used and so rich in taste, I don't even add my usual crushed red pepper- usually added when something is too bland. Even my Mother in Law, who is not one to give out compliments, loves it I buy it by the case and will continue to do so even with the professional size cans.

Resist the urge to 'doctor' this sauce because it comes from a can. It ain't broke... don't try to fix it.

I make cioppino with this sauce. Open up a can, add a pound of fish, another pound of shellfish or seafood sausage, and a bit of chopped spinach. Cook for 10-15 minutes and a delicious high protein stew is waiting for you. So easy to make with virtually no preparation or clean up.

A rich, tangy, and tasty sauce that's perfect for an weekday dinner. Serve over pasta, topped with freshly grated parmesan. Add garlic bread and a glass of wine for a dinner that only seems like you've been slaving over it all day. (Buy more than one can, or you'll be sad.)

Ditto the earlier raves. Normally, one must make sauce at home to experience that wickedly delicious eggplant flavor; but this sauce, incredibly, comes in a can. No one who samples this can believe it is not made to order with fresh vegetables. I'm crushed that it may be discontinued!! No ~ don't do it!!

I don't usually buy sauce, as a cook I prefer to make my own. As a food writer, I tend to shun pre-made anything...so I was given a can of this to just try. Holy smokes was I pleasantly surprised. This sauce is incredible!!!! So fresh, the flavors are so perfectly balanced; it is delicious. I am ordering a case.

I am a new customer who recently purchased olive oil and decided to sample some sauce. I am so glad I did. I don't generally write reviews but I had to write one about this product. This sauce is absolutely incredible. Years ago, my husband and I grew our own tomatoes and vegetables and would make our own sauce. This sauce tastes just like homemade. Nothing needs to be added to enhance the flavor. We are from Rhode Island where Italian restaurants are everywhere. We have sampled sauce at many restaurants and this is the best sauce we have tasted in a long time. I plan to purchase a case of this sauce so I will always have it on hand. I will never buy any other sauce. Thank you Sciabica and keep up the good work.

This is one of the greatest food products ever. The other reviewers are right--you don't have to do anything to this sauce, it is perfect. It makes boring vegetables like eggplant and zucchini SING! Every single time I use it (and only for friends and family I consider "Exclusivo worthy"), someone takes me aside and asks me what my secret ingredient is. I am not one for prepared sauces but this is out of this world. It is fun to find other devotees, and finally a reliable online source. Thank you and keep it coming.

My sister sent me a can of this sauce (from Houston). My bunch had fits over it. It is wonderful. I do not add anything to the sauce, it's ready as soon as the can is opened. I ordered a case of it. I do not want to run out of this stuff! I have noticed that it is 'out of stock' still. Please keep stocking this wonderful, wonderful sauce. I live in Amarillo. mailing the sauce from Houston is too costly, and it is a 13 hour drive from. Anyway to find someone closer that carries it?

The grocery store I frequent was doing a tasting of this sauce and I immediately fell in love. It stands on its own (great for dipping bread in). I have used it for a base for chicken cattitore, spaghetti & pot roast. Every time I have used this product, I get rave reviews. I have had to buy extra cans to give to family members.

The grocery store I frequent was doing a tasting of this sauce and I immediately fell in love. It stands on its own (great for dipping bread in). I have used it for a base for chicken cattitore, spaghetti & pot roast. Every time I have used this product, I get rave reviews. I have had to buy extra cans to give to family members.
