Product Description

This extraordinary olive oil was produced from crushing fresh Mission Variety olives with real Basil. This method produces a basil olive oil of unmatched flavor intensity. Unlike infused olive oils this natural, cold-pressed combination of two of nature's most delightful flavors brings you to an olive oil which is a real joy to experience. Terrific tossed with pasta for instant pesto flavor; salads with balsamic vinegar; sandwich spread; bread dipping.

  1. Discovered in S.F.

We were visiting family in S.F., and discovered Sciabica's at the farmers market. I order on a regular basis, it is the best, especially when used in my pasta sauce. We always visit them at the farmers market, when we are back in S.F.

  3. Pesto in a bottle

Posted by Babs on 27th Jun 2009

I discovered this jewel in Sacramento and now cannot do without its its unique flavor. When I relocated to Sonoma County, I searched in vain for Basil EVOO. Thank heaven for online ordering! I use Basil EVOO solo over pasta and for dipping bread with grated parmesan and romano. It's the obvious choice for caprese. I make an awesome salad dressing with Basil EVOO, mayonnaise and honey dijon mustard. Indeed, this gem is on my table every night. May the Sciabica family live long, prosper and never stop producing Basil EVOO!

  4. Like a Basil Leaf!

Posted by Jim Bob on 22nd Jun 2009

I virtually never take the time to leave reviews for any product. Additionally, I never would have thought that I would order olive oil over the internet! But this product is like no other I have tasted. Correction: I do not taste this product, I relish it. It is like simultaneously crushing the freshest basil leaf in my mouth while sipping drops of high quality olive oil. It borders on miraculous. Drizzle it on a salad and you can leave the basil on the plant.

  5. Sciabica's Basil EVOO is absolutely incredible!

Posted by jodeer on 19th May 2009

I have tried many other brands of Basil EVOO and nothing comes close to Sciabica's. The intensity and freshness of the basil flavour is far and away superior - the closest thing you're going to get to fresh basil in a bottle!
I use it mostly as a salad oil and finishing oil.
